How do I put a size table (size chart) on my webshop?

In this article we explain how to create a size chart and how to easily display it for individual products or for larger groups of products.

Introduction

Size tables / size charts are a very common way for the customer to verify that they are buying the right size before purchasing. This makes the customer's shopping experience more enjoyable and reduces the number of returns.

How does it work?

NextChapter has the native Size Tables functionality.

Size tables can easily be linked to one or more products via Product Collections. For example, if you use different size charts for different brands.

Product Collections are an extremely powerful tool to easily use groups of products in various places in the platform, such as Promotions, Categories and also Size Charts.

In the CMS, go to:

• Create a ProductCollection with the products you want to attach a size chart to. (For example, all products from Brand X).
• Content > Size tables
• Click on Add
• Give the size table a clear name (especially if you use multiple size charts)
• Check whether you want to see the size table on the test and/or live environment
• Choose image, PDF or HTML
• Save your size table
• A new tab will appear: ProductCollections
• Link the previously created ProductCollection here
• Save
